Hello, before nothing sorry me if my English isn´t very good.
We´ve just downloaded Sip Proxy and Media Proxy trial version.
We have a product which requires that a lot of people connects with our servers through SIP technology, but we don´t want that our clients must to redirect their router´s ports.
We´ve test your Centrex Proxy Server and it work successful, in the other hand, we can´t connect with Media Server from public network (in a private network it works successful too). We´ve read in Help File: "As of version 2.70 of the Lanscape VOIP Media Proxy, WAN IP/NAT detection is not supported". Do you have a new version of Media Server which supports NAT connections? Could we test it?

Thanks for all.

Hi vocdev,

Thanks for posting your question.

When you deploy the Centrex (SIP) Proxy server and the VOIP Media Proxy server, you should deploy them in the same network environment. That is to say, deploy all of them in the global IP address space (the internet) or in your own private network. If you deploy the proxies behind NAT in your private network, then you will have to set up your network to properly port forward your primary SIP port the Centrex proxy will use (5060) and all media ports the media proxy will use.

The “Wan Ip Address” support that is in the VOIP Media Proxy is not needed to properly set up a fully functional VOIP domain and will be removed from upcoming product releases.

Repost additional questions as needed,
