Hello,

I´m testing Centrex Sip Proxy Server and Sip Media Server trial version.

These servers are installed in a private network. In the same network I´ve got a Sip Software Phone.
When I make a call from this phone (Phone A) to other phone placed in public network (Phone B), 'Phone B' can listen to 'Phone A' but 'Phone A' can´t listen to 'Phone B'.
When I tried to make a call from 'Phone B' to 'Phone A', Centrex Proxy Server said: "Error parsing received SIP protocol packet from 87.215.*.*:5060 Possibly non-compliant SIP message".

What is the problem?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi vocdev,

Use the Centrex Proxy to generate a SIP log file for the call that is failing and post the SIP log to this forum thread. We will look at the log to see what is happening. Most times it’s a simple issue.

Note:
Because your SIP and Media proxies are in your private network, make sure you properly forward SIP and media ports from your NAT router/firewall to your SIP and Media servers.

Question 1:
What SIP clients are you using for phone A and B?

Question 2:
Are they soft phones or hard IP phones?

We will review your SIP log as soon as you post it.
